Chris Glaba is only 27 years old and has been diagnosed with cancer and his condition is now terminal with only few months to live.

His courageous battle against terminal cancer has inspired his sister and the company he works for to launch fundraising drives.

His sister, Nicola has recently launched an appeal which has raised almost £15,000, to help Chris achieve a ‘bucket list’ of activities. She mentioned that Chris is too sick and has very less time on his hands. So she wants to provide him the best for the time left with him.

She mentioned that Chris always wanted to get married – and so on November 13 some part of the fund was used to make this dream come true for him. He got married to his best friend at a ‘fake’ wedding in Altrincham, with Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard DJing, followed by a celebration party.

Chris worked for ticket company Skiddle , the ticket company where Chris worked has pledged to raise £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by the end of 2017.The company has already generated £45,000 through a series of checkout donations from its customers and other company initiatives. The company is planning to hit the target in 2017 with plans set to be laid out before the new year begins.

Jimmy Coultas from Skiddle mentioned that throughout his illness , they have supported Chris and his family . The Skiddle team – has been exemplary, and as such the company and all their employees are determined to raise as much money as possible to help fight this serious disease.
