Differently abled persons are often neglected in this society and they don’t get the same respect and recognition like other normal persons. In Bengaluru recently a fashion pageant took place and it attracted the attention of many because the participants were differently abled and they walked the ramp. Fabulous isn’t it!!
Supported by AIMS Media this fashion pageant named ‘’Walk With A Difference’’ or WWAD was simply sensational and the main purpose of this event was to show beauty lies beyond skin. On that day 30 differently abled persons walked the ramp and there were loud cheers. It is important to note that this WWAD event to bring disabled models of all shapes and sizes was highly successful and was spoken greatly.
This event took place at the popular Christ University in Bengaluru and this event also saw the launch of ‘’Disabled Mannequins’’ that was dedicated to the last year people who made it to the finals. Rakesh Dhasmana who is the chief executive officer if AIMS Media spoke about this event and said the ‘’Disabled Mannequins’’ is the modern move of creating awareness in many and is a superb.
Rakesh Dhamsana also expressed his thoughts about creating a society that shows empathy to physically disabled persons and shows equality. He also spoke about how this AIMS Media is associating with Divyangs and is on the way to build an inclusive- accessible society. This event also saw some terrific performances of visually challenged persons belonging to Articluate Disability Organization. Superb work!!
